AI Operations & Strategy Engineer — Location: Remote (South Africa).
Responsibilities
- Manage and refine prompt engineering strategies.
- Monitor and optimise AI resource usage and costs.
- Develop evaluation frameworks to ensure reliable AI outputs.
- Train and enable internal teams on AI best practices.
- Contribute to the AI product roadmap and future features.
Requirements
- Proven experience in AI engineering or machine learning operations.
- Expertise in prompt engineering and model optimisation.
- Knowledge of AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
- Experience building evaluation frameworks for AI quality.
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
- Programming experience in Python is a plus.
