Applications Support Engineer .Net



Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Test and implement application solutions
  2. Operational support including, amongst others, root cause analysis; management of incidents, problems, changes and service requests; and SLA achievement
  3. Involvement with projects, where applicable
  4. Technical solutions and/or configuration
  5. Vendor liaison, where applicable
  6. Technical advice provided to team members and juniors

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. A relevant tertiary qualification
  2. Experience with C# and associated development tools
  3. Classic ASP and/or ASP.NET development experience
  4. MS SQL Server experience with Transact-SQL language skills
  5. MS SharePoint and/or Kafka experience (advantageous)
  6. REACT / Next.JS (advantageous)
  7. Knowledge and/or experience with Application Performance Management (APM) tools (e.g. Dynatrace) would be advantageous
  8. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
