Our Durban Pricing team is actively seeking a skilled Estimator to join our ranks.

- Attend to internal & external client requests for rates & quotations
- Maintain & build on relationships with internal & external service providers
- Ensure that estimates, tenders are submitted within the stipulated timelines
- Ensure that all rates & pricing is filed in a manner that allows ease of access when required
- Ensure accuracy with respect to all estimates submitted
- Ensure that all pricing submitted is competitive
- Ensure that a minimum of 3 quotes are obtained from service providers where possible
- Ensure that pricing submitted is consistent with the scope of services requested
- Ensure that a comprehensive handover to operations takes place upon securing a shipment, including cost sheets and all buy rate correspondence.
- Ensure that all risks are assessed when rate requests are received, and pricing submitted in accordance with the risks
- Ensure Status Reports are Live Updated
Pricing

Procurement

- Ensure that the best possible combination of rates & service are obtained from service providers
Operations & Admin
- Ensure that all rates & pricing is filed in a manner that allows ease of access when required
- Ensure that a comprehensive handover to operations takes place upon securing a shipment, including cost sheets and all buy rate correspondence.
- Ensure Status Reports are Live Updated.
- Matric
- Relevant Qualification or Diploma
- 1-3 Years in Estimate Processing
- Proficiency in Incoterms and Different Modes of Transport
- Focus on customer requirements.
- Knowledge on Breakbulk / Ro-Ro and Over Border requests will be advantageous.
- High level of computer literacy in MS Office Suite
