Intermediate Developer Job Opening In Sandton – Now Hiring Dimension Data

The Intermediate Frontend Developer is responsible for creating client specific solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining applications.

They will have the ability to design and customise applications for specific client use with the aim of optimising operational efficiency.

This includes being responsible for developing and supporting all aspects of our design and creative output.

It's an intermediate role, with accountability for online and offline design input and success of the design delivery.

You will ensure design and creative deliverables are aligned to client expectations and executed.

Intermediate frontend developers work in teams to identify ideas and concepts for a specific requirement brought to them from a customer.

They are able unpack those ideas and create recommended solutions so that every part of the concept is thought out and accounted for.

They understand coding languages and how to apply them in a way to create new, fresh content and usable applications.

Depending on the job, frontend developers will work with other developers, UX/UI Designers, Business Analysts and other subject matter experts to develop solutions.

Once the solution is developed, frontend developers help to test and fix any bugs that are found before the product is launched.

Requirements

·       Versed in research, design, and development

·       Developing solutions to meet customer needs.

·       Ability to consistently produce clean, efficient code based on client specifications

·       Assist with the development and maintenance of user and technical documentation.

·       Provide coaching and mentoring to developers

·       Assist with concept development in relation to design and creative outputs

·       Assist with the design and development of projects and be point of contact for

·       client’s technical feedback

·       Work with internal teams to generate ideas and products for future development.

·       Provide quality control over design outputs and production

·       Establishing and developing best practice with the development team.

·       Build a positive and concrete change in team members to boost the transfer of

·       knowledge

·       Design and conduct usability tests and user experience feedback sessions and analyse

·       the results from the information gathered during these sessions.

·       Visualise and mock-up user interactions.

INTERMEDIATE FRONTEND DEVELOPER

·       Make recommendations to team members about which usability methods to use to

·       answer their questions about users and design directions based on projects' needs,

·       goals and constraints.

·       Possesses knowledge and application of user-centred philosophies and interaction

·       design best practices.

·       Identify opportunities to improve the user experience.

PROVIDE PRE-SALES SUPPORT

·       There is an expectation for the Intermediate Frontend Developer to engage with the PreSales & Sales teams to adequately scope project solutions.

The pre-sales scoping of the

·       project would involve the completion of a proposal.

This will include:

·       understanding the client requirements, developing an initial view of the solution,

3AGILE DEVELOPMENT

·       Ensure that Agile software principles are followed by which collaboration is the

·       decision maker for requirements and solutions.

·       Contribute to a Cross-functional Agile team that self-organises to apply adaptive

·       planning and evolve development for quick delivery and continuous improvements in

·       deployments.

·       Ability to rapidly respond to change that involves customer participation.

·       Improvement of solution quality encouraged by frequent releases and short release

·       cycles.

·       Focus on quality outcomes which generates customer satisfaction within a timeline

·       that retains customer engagement.

EXPERIENCE

·       Minimum of 1 year of frontend development experience within Microsoft O365.

·       Minimum of 1 years UX design experience

·       Experience with the HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.

·       Understanding of JavaScript and Frontend Frameworks, CSS pre-processors, Restful

·       Services/APIs.

·       Experience with responsive/Mobile design and cross browser development

·       Agile Software Development.

INTERMEDIATE FRONTEND DEVELOPER
