Intermediate Project Manager



Job description

As an intermediate project manager, you'll help manage projects of all types, ensuring that they're completed on time and within budget.

You will have a broad understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how to effectively utilize different tools for each stage.

You'll also be able to troubleshoot problems in order to ensure smooth execution of projects.


Requirements


  1. Developing and maintaining project management deliverables (schedule, documentation, reporting) and keeping it updated as the project progresses
  2. Identifying, managing and communicating changes (risks and issues) that may affect the project’s scope or timeline
  3. Managing project team members by delegating tasks and setting expectations for performance
  4. Monitoring resource allocation, timelines, and other key metrics to ensure project milestones are met
  5. Facilitating meetings with stakeholders to ensure effective communication about projects
  6. Monitoring and controlling work input and scope to ensure that all projects remain on track and in control
  7. Ensuring the projects and activities are executed in the most efficient and agile way based on agreed company methodologies, tools, and processes
  8. Planning and managing program stakeholders, scope, activities, conflict resolution, and approach in and across a highly matrixed global organization through direct interaction and communication, regular status reports and personally managing escalations, when necessary
  9. Following the change methodology, participate, drive the deliverables and manage feedback with the senior leadership on the project to ensure successful adoption


Qualifications


  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  2. Intermediate Project Manager 3-5yrs Experience
  3. Proficiency in project management methodology, tools, and templates (includes project planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)
  4. Formidable team working skills across matrixed client, supplier, and geographically dispersed virtual teams
  5. Instrumental in the use of IT methodologies, processes, and standards for project management
  6. PMP or similar project management certification
  7. Experience in delivery that includes the use of external supplier and offshore resources
  8. Experience in participating and driving change management as part of the project
  9. Communicating with Senior stakeholders (Steercoms, Status reporting, weekly meetings)
  10. Database deployments (SQLMSQL – AzureMS), Data warehousing, Data Migrations
  11. ERP Deployments (e.g. Change Request, Minormedium size changes in SAP or other ERP)
