Intermediate Tosca Automation Engineer – SAP

Why this role matters
An intermediate engineer is at that stage where Tosca is familiar enough to use daily without hesitation, yet there's still a lot to learn about frameworks, integration, and project-scale delivery.
You'll be trusted to work independently on scripts, while also expected to support the bigger automation picture led by the senior team.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and maintaining Tosca test scripts across SAP modules, including GUI and Fiori.
- Supporting framework enhancements under guidance of the Automation Lead.
- Participating in test planning, identifying meaningful scenarios, and creating test data.
- Running automated suites, analysing outcomes, and reporting issues with enough context for others to act.
- Contributing to continuous testing efforts through CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Keeping documentation practical and maintainable for future engineers.
- Staying current with SAP automation approaches and suggesting useful improvements.
What you need to bring
- 2–4 years Tosca experience
in SAP environments.
- 1–2 years general automation experience
beyond Tosca, to show you can adapt tools and approaches.
- Practical knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (Solman) for test and change management.
- Understanding of regression and integration testing approaches.
- Familiarity with Agile methods and SDLC rhythms.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with JIRA, qTest or similar test management tools.
- Some exposure to API testing and SAP integrations.
- SQL knowledge for data validation.
- Experience in retail SAP roll-outs
