Job description
Purpose: Be responsible for deploying solutions for operational improvements ranging from job costing, inventory management, warehouse management, Bill of materials management, ERP integration, payroll systems, timekeeping systems and Power BI ensuring alignment with operational goals and industry best practices.
Principal Accountabilities: Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end project management for system implementations, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
System Implementation: Understand the needs of business ad translate it into system requirements Oversee the deployment of job costing, inventory, warehousing, and ERP systems tailored to foundry operations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, finance, IT, sales, CSS, operations and supply chain to gather requirements and ensure successful adoption.
Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with software vendors and implementation partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Process Optimisation: Analyse current workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and traceability.
Training & Support: Develop training materials and lead sessions for end-users to ensure smooth transition and system utilisation.
Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on operations.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to leadership.
Design and develop interactive dashboards with software suppliers for analytical reports that transform raw data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making by management.
Job costing: Manage the opening and closing of jobs on the system, recommend changes to absorption rates, analyse variances.

Position Requirements: Bachelors degree in either Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration.
CIMA advantage.
Minimum of five years of experience in within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience implementing ERP systems, warehouse management systems and modules for inventory and costing.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, materials flow, and production costing.
Preferred experience with SAP or Syspro.
