Role Overview

This hybrid Mid-Level UX/UI and AI Creative Designer role blends user-centered digital design expertise with the innovative use of generative AI tools to create visually compelling, user-friendly, and performance-optimised marketing assets and digital experiences.

This role will collaborate across design, development, marketing, and data teams to deliver high-quality UX/UI designs, AI-enhanced creatives, and multimedia content that drive engagement and conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

UX/UI Design Execution & Quality Control

  • Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and engaging user interfaces aligned with user needs and business goals.

  • Apply user-centered design principles for intuitive digital experiences, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.

  • Establish quality control processes for design deliverables, reviewing front-end implementations to ensure design accuracy and usability.

  • Collaborate with development teams for design validation and defect resolution.

AI-Enhanced Creative Production

  • Utilise AI design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, Stable Diffusion) to accelerate creative asset production.

  • Produce high-performing visuals and short-form video content for Google Ads, social platforms, and web.

  • Edit and enhance video content for digital campaigns using AI-assisted workflows.

  • Continuously experiment with new AI technologies to improve creative efficiency and output quality.

Conversion Rate Optimization & Testing

  • Drive continuous optimisation of user journeys and marketing creatives through data-driven A/B testing and CRO initiatives.

  • Design and implement variations of digital assets for performance testing on social and paid media platforms.

  • Analyse user behavior and campaign data using tools like Hotjar, Clarity, and analytics platforms to inform design improvements.

User Research & Insights

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and analytics review.

  • Gather, interpret, and synthesize insights to refine user flows and digital interfaces for optimal experience and business impact.

Quality Control of Development Items

  • Establish and own a rigorous quality control process for development deliverables related to UX/UI design, ensuring implementation matches design specifications and user experience standards.

  • Coordinate with development teams to review front-end functionalities, responsiveness, accessibility, and adherence to usability guidelines.

  • Track and manage design-related defects or inconsistencies during development and participate in timely resolution to safeguard delivery quality.

  • Facilitate cross-functional QA testing efforts that include design validation, to prevent errors and maintain visual and interaction design integrity post-development.

Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, production, development, and data teams to align UX/UI and creative outputs with project and brand objectives.

  • Mentor junior designers, sharing best practices in UX/UI design and AI creative methodologies.

  • Foster a collaborative culture emphasizing user-centric and performance-driven design.

Skills and Experience Required

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in UX/UI design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro.

  • Experience with AI-assisted design tools for image generation and video editing (MidJourney, Runway, Stable Diffusion, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of responsive design, interaction design, accessibility, and CRO tools.

  • Familiarity with web design software and basic HTML/CSS knowledge (non-development focus).

Experience

  • Proven track record of leading UX/UI design projects with portfolios demonstrating user-centered, visually engaging, and conversion-optimized designs.

  • Experience creating multimedia content for social and digital marketing platforms, including short-form videos and AI-driven assets.

  • Hands-on experience conducting user research and applying insights to design improvements.

  • Experience with A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize campaigns and user experiences.
